Tune Insight, a leading innovator in privacy-preserving computation technologies is proud to announce its key role of technical leader in the groundbreaking PRIVIDEMA project, funded under the Horizon Europe program. The PRIVIDEMA project aims to revolutionize privacy-preserving identity management and enhance secure data sharing for cyber threat intelligence contributing to the development of the European Digital Identity Wallet.

PRIVIDEMA will develop solutions for sharing and processing cyber-threat intelligence (CTI) to support EU cybersecurity regulations, including the Cyber Resilience Act and NIS2 Directive. By enabling joint CTI analytics, stakeholders can understand better the existing threats and uncover new attack vectors. Privacy-preserving technologies like homomorphic encryption, federated learning and differential privacy will protect data confidentiality. Specifically, PRIVIDEMA will enhance cyber resilience by privately matching Software Bill of Materials with vulnerability databases. This supports the EU’s Digital Decade initiative by contributing to advanced standards in security and user adoption.

PRIVIDEMA is a three-year project funded by the European Union (Grant requested 3,133,965.00 EUR), which started November 1st, 2024. The consortium consists of seven partners, including highly experienced industrial partner (Thales DIS France SAS) and SMEs (Technikon, Tune Insight, iDAKTO SAS), as well as high ranked academic partners (Sabanci University, University of Turku) and a research organisation (The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).

Key Objectives of PRIVIDEMA:

  • Privacy-Preserving Identity Management: Develop advanced tools for digital identity wallets that enable individuals to securely manage and share their personal information without compromising their privacy.
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence Data Processing: Create and demonstrate a privacy-preserving cyber threat data processing system to enhance cybersecurity across borders while protecting sensitive information from exposure.
  • Advancing Privacy Preserving Computations: The project will push the boundaries of homomorphic encryption and federated learning, ensuring that data can be processed securely without needing to be decrypted and therefore safeguarding user privacy.

Role of Tune Insight in the project:

In PRIVIDEMA, Tune Insight serves as the technical lead bringing expertise in privacy-preserving techniques such as fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), multi-party computation (MPC), federated learning, synthetic data, and differential privacy. The company excels in combining these technologies at scale, enhancing FHE with innovative algorithms and efficient implementation of the core FHE building blocks and scheme-switching methods.

Additionally, Tune Insight is dedicated to developing scalable, privacy-preserving algorithms for identity management, designing software and hardware-optimized solutions and ensuring robust output privacy protection. Their technical expertise and innovative solutions are vital to PRIVIDEMA’s goal of providing secure, scalable and privacy-focused technologies for real-world applications.
